Can I make an appointment for PA drivers license renewal? Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania Drivers License Renewal
PennDOT processes drivers license renewals mostly online and by mail. There is no real opportunity to book an appointment until the very final stages of the process. As a currently licensed PA driver, you will receive an "Invitation to Renew" letter from PennDOT three months before expiration of your current license. You can use this form to further the renewal process online, or fill it out, attach your check or money order, and mail it back to PennDOT. About one week later, you should receive a camera card in the mail from PennDOT. You will need this card and several forms of identification to complete the renewal at an approved Photo Center.
Some Photo Centers are PennDOT Drivers License Centers and others are private businesses known as On-Line Messenger Service Centers. The messenger facilities might offer you more convenience, and perhaps the ability to book an appointment, all for a small additional fee.
Expired License
Don't get caught behind the wheel in PA driving on an expired license, or you face traffic tickets and fines. Since PennDOT makes it so easy to renew your drivers license online or by mail, make sure to attend to your renewal on time.Post Comment for "Can I make an appointment for PA drivers license renewal?"
