Where can I get a copy of the driving book?
You can usually pick up a copy of your state's drivers handbook at your local drivers license office. If it's not available, you may have to call your state's main drivers license agency headquarters and ask that one be sent to you.
However, many states now allow you to view the handbook online. To find out if this is an option for you, go to your state's driving licensing site and search through the forms/publications section. You may be able to download the driving book, too. But, the manual is likely to be large, which means it could take a long time to download and require a lot of paper.
No matter how you obtain the drivers manual, be sure to know its contents thoroughly before attempting to take the written test needed to get your drivers license.
