Can I find a drivers license book online?

That depends on where you live.

Many states now make their drivers manual available online. That's great because it eliminates a trip or phone call to your DMV office to get the book, and it saves paper. Check to see if your state offers the drivers handbook by visiting your state's official drivers license Web site. Then, look through the forms/publications section. Hopefully, you'll be able to find it listed.

Keep in mind, though, these drivers license books usually contain a lot of pages. So, you may experience a lengthy download and use a bunch of paper. Of course, you don't have to download the book; you can simply study the information online.

No matter how you obtain this information, be sure to study it thoroughly, as you'll need to have a sound knowledge of it to pass the drivers license written test. And, it doesn't hurt to take some practice tests, either.
