The fee for replacement stickers or tabs is $18.

California license plates are related to your car registration, but when replacing car tags you will not have to pay the vehicle registration fee again; all you'll need to take care of is the $18 replacement fee. Also, your car registration renewal time will be the same.

Procedure for Duplicate Stickers
