Vehicle title or title transfer fees vary a bit, but below are some common car title fee situations:

  • New title: $77.25
  • Used title from out of state: $85.25
  • Title transfer: $75.25
  • Duplicate title: $75.25
  • Lien only with no ownership transfer: $74.25
  • Fast title: $10 (in addition to other applicable title fees)
  • For-hire title: $56.25
  • Delinquent title: $20
Please note these fees are for electronic titles; paper titles cost an additional $2.50, and you might also have to pay a $2 lien recording fee assessed on title transactions.
