Replacing Pennsylvania License Plates
It's easy to obtain a replacement license plate in PA. Fill out Form MV-44, available on the PennDOT website. This form has the lengthy title, "Application for Duplicate Registration, Replacement of Registration Plate, Renewal Sticker or Weight Class Sticker or Transfer of Registration," but it asks for standard information about you and your vehicle. You would use the form to request a replacement license plate, registration card, or plate sticker. The fee to replace a registration license plate is $7.50.
