Keep Your Motorcycle Driver License Current
Remember, if you are younger than 18 years old, your motorcycle license expires on your next birthday. If you are 18 years of age or older, your license is valid for six years.Be sure to renew your motorcycle license with the TX DPS on time to avoid the risk of beginning the application process all over again, including taking the license test.
NOTE: Motorcycles can be fun, but it's important to remember that without the proper education and training, these machines can be dangerous, too. Your license renewal period is a great time to brush up on your motorcycle safety skills. You might want to take a motorcycle practice test or two to find out how sharp your skills have remained and whether enrolling in a refresher course would benefit you.
