Do I have to take a CA motorcycle safety course or drivers ed? California
The California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) mandates that you complete a motorcycle safety course before you receive your motorcycle license if you are younger than 21 years. The motorcycle rider training program is offered through the CA Highway Patrol.
