If you are relocating to another state with a current motorcycle license from your previous state of residency, you will likely not be required to take a motorcycle test, or a motorcycle safety course.

On the other hand, if your drivers license is expired, you could be required to complete a motorcycle riding test, and/or a motorcycle course.

Motorcycle Training

Contact your local DMV branch for a list of approved motorcycle training courses in your area. You can also take a motorcycle practice test online.
