Get a Personalized License Plate for Your Motorcycle
Personalized plates are available for motorcycles. If you order one during registration, you'll be required to pay a one-time $50 fee in addition to the normal $65 registration fee. Because a personalized plate must be ordered, you'll receive a temporary plate until the permanent plate arrives in the mail. This temporary plate will be sufficient for your motorcycle riding while you wait.Or, if you have a standard plate and want to switch to a personalized plate, you'll need to submit a personalized plate application. This can be obtained from any New Jersey MVC location or by requesting by phone at (888) 486-3339. If you own a MyMVC account you'll also have the option of ordering online.
