- Indicate whether the boat is being financed. If so, fill in the lienholder’s name and street mailing address.

PA boat registration cards are valid for two years; cards are renewed every other year on March 31.
Until permanent registration cards arrive in the mail, watercraft owners can obtain temporary boat registrations through registered PA issuing agents. Temporary registration cards allow boaters to operate their vessels in PA waterways while they wait to receive their permanent registration card in the mail.
