FL Window Tint Restrictions
- Front window: A window tint strip may be placed at the top of the windshield, above the AS-1 line. The car tint strip cannot interfere with the driver's vision.
- Front Side Windows: At least 28% of visible light transmission (VLT) must be able to come through the glass.
- Rear Side Windows: A minimum 15% VLT is required.
FL Reflectivity Restrictions
Tint laws dictate that the tint can't reflect more than 25% light on the front side windows, and 35% on the rear window.FL Tint Law Exceptions
Those with physical conditions requiring limited exposure to light may apply for a medical certificate giving them permission to exceed the customary tinting standards.FL Tinted Windows Penalties
