There is currently no official auto dealers handbook in Illinois, but the Illinois Regulations for Vehicle Dealers manual is an excellent resource Illinois car dealers. Manual topics include Sunday car sales regulations, dealer lot illumination laws, and dealer sign regulations.The manual is available online in PDF format; it can also be obtained from the Vehicle Services Department/Dealer Licensing Section at the following address:
