Pennsylvania Car Salesperson License Fees
Each car salesperson that conducts auto sales in Pennsylvania (PA), including auto dealers, must obtain a salesperson license. Car dealers and their employees who conduct car sales must also pay fees prior to selling new cars or used cars in the Keystone State.Applicable fees associated with the PA car salesperson license are as follows:
- First time PA car sales person license application processing fee: $25
- Processing fee to change the name of the car dealer associated with a car salesperson license: $25
After you date the application, pay the applicable fee and mail the completed application to:

Fees paid to the PA State Board of Vehicle Dealers are non-refundable. Should your check be returned due to insufficient funds, you will be assessed a $20 returned check fee by the State Board of Vehicle Dealers, Manufacturers and Salespersons. Your PA car salespersons license will not be approved until you pay the associated fee.
