How do I apply for a ND learners permit? North Dakota

ND Learners Permit Process
Once you’re at least 14 years old:- Study a copy of the North Dakota drivers license manual (available through the NDDOT site).
- Take a practice permit test to see if you're sufficiently prepared for the permit test (optional step).
- Go to a drivers license office (no appointment required).
- Bring acceptable proof of your full name and date of birth (original or certified copies of a birth certificate, state ID, valid U.S. passport, etc.).
- Complete a drivers permit application, and have a parent or guardian sign it.
- Pass a vision test.
- Pay the $5 written test fee.
- Pass the written test covering road signs and traffic rules.
- Pay the $10 permit fee.
