Study for Written Permit Test
To obtain a permit, the first step towards earning a South Carolina drivers license, you must pass the written test. All questions are based on information found in the state's drivers manual. This is your main study source. You can grab a copy from any DMV office, or by downloading from the DMV website.
Next, after studying the manual, take at least one practice permit test. These online tests feature questions almost identical to those found on the actual exam, giving you an accurate reading on whether or not you're test-ready.
