TN Driving Permit Paperwork Requirements
- Acceptable primary and secondary identification documents.
- Acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship or authorized stay.
- Two acceptable proofs of residency.
- Your Social Security number (or affidavit saying you haven't been issued one).
- Proof of school attendance/progress.
- A minor/teenage affidavit and financial responsibility form, which a parent or legal guardian must sign.

Of course, as part of the permit process, you must pass a written permit test. To do so, make sure you study the state's drivers license manual first. - $50,000 for all injuries or deaths.
