New Driver Checklist
Teen restrictions are meant to help young drivers fully develop their driving skills under supervised conditions; keep reading to learn the specifics regarding Wyoming teens.

WY Teen Driving Rules

With a learners permit, a teen may only drive with a currently licensed driver who is 18 or older sitting in the front passenger seat. Learners permit holders must keep their permit for at least 10 days before trying for their full drivers license.

With an intermediate drivers permit, you may drive by yourself, but only between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. Additionally, you can't drive with more than a single passenger younger than 18, unless they're members of your immediate family.

No matter which permit you have, make sure all your passengers are wearing seat belts.
