Fee for Identification Cards
An Arizona drivers license gives you the right to legally operate a motor vehicle, but it's also commonly used as a form of identification when writing checks, filling out a job application, or applying for government assistance. If you are unable to obtain a drivers license due to a suspension or medical problem that affects your ability to operate a motor vehicle safely, you can apply for an identification card.
The fee for a non-driver identification card is $12. However, this fee is waived for persons age 65 or older or anyone who is receiving federal Supplemental Security Income disability payments.
