According the Department of Public Safety (DPS) website, the fees for a South Dakota drivers license are as follows:

$20 license renewal fee.
$10 duplicate license fee.
Fees of up to $200 for reinstatement of a suspended license.

Vehicle Registration Fees


Vehicle registration fees are dependent on the vehicle’s weight, age, and registration duration. For example, a vehicle under 2,000 pounds and four years of age can be registered for $2.50 per month, $15 per six months, or $30 per year.
