How much does it cost to check the status of my driver’s license in Florida? Florida

New Driver Checklist

The Florida Division of Driver Licenses (DDL) allows residents to request a copy of their driving record containing information such as violations, suspensions, revocations, and restrictions. A written request must be submitted with your full name, birth date, Social Security number, driver license number, and the address you would like to have the completed record mailed to. The fee for this service is $2.10 for a three-year record or $3.10 for a seven-year record. If the copy needs to be certified, the fee is $3.10.

If you're pressed for time or simply hate doing paperwork, you can choose to request a copy of your driving record through a state approved third-party provider. Although this costs a bit more than requesting the information on your own, the convenience is often well worth the added expense.
