Before you can take a driving test for your DC drivers license, you must first obtain a learners permit. And, before applying for that, you'll need to prepare for the 20-question knowledge test by studying the DMV's drivers manual, your prime study source. All test questions are based on material found in the manual, including road sign identification, space management, and road emergencies.
