To obtain a car registration certificate, you'll need to visit your local DOR office, which, in Kansas, means your county treasurer's office. To avoid a penalty, vehicle registration must occur within 30 days of the vehicle's purchase date.NOTE: New residents have 90 days after relocating to KS to complete vehicle registration.
When applying, provide your county treasurer with:
