How do I renew OH vehicle registration? Ohio
The Buckeye State gives you four registration renewal options.
Enter your license plate number and the last four digits of your Social Security number to start the process. Then, follow the rest of the instructions provided to finish this task.
Pay your renewal fee with a MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express credit card, or with a check.

Just complete the renewal card you received, and send it back in the envelope provided, along with a check or money order for your payment.
However, there are some exemptions. For instance, vehicles made within the past four model years don't have to be tested.

Late renewals carry a $20 penalty, in addition to the renewal fee. Renewals can either last for one or two years. Renewal costs vary by where you live and the length of the renewal period.
