Auto insurance in Connecticut is mandatory for all registered vehicles. To comply, you must carry the following amounts of liability insurance coverage:
When driving you must always carry an insurance identification card with the following information:
- $20,000 of bodily injury or death for one person in an accident.
- $40,000 of bodily injury or death for more than one person in an accident.
- $10,000 of property damage coverage in an accident.
