The best reason to purchase DMV practice tests is to supplement what your state already provides – or, fill in the blanks your state leaves – in order to increase your chances of passing your real drivers test.
Some states provide free practice tests in their driver handbooks or on their official Web sites, and if you enroll in a driver education course your instructor will undoubtedly administer a practice exam or two.
Yet, if you don’t have access to these kinds of resources – either because your state doesn’t provide them or you don’t feel the tests sufficiently cover the information – you can purchase a practice DMV test from a third-party provider.
