Let's put it this way.

Completing an advanced driver improvement (ADI) or traffic school course never hurts your chances. After all, doing so can indicate you're serious about becoming a safer driver, and you'll also receive plenty of practical driving advice you can use the rest of your life.

However, to reinstate your license, you'll have to follow the suspended license process as dictated by your state's drivers license agency or the judge overseeing your case. Merely completing a classroom or online traffic school course by itself won't get your license back.

If you are required to take an ADI class as part of your reinstatement process, just be sure it's from a state-approved provider.
