Comedy schools are no different than any other online traffic school when it comes to testing. At the conclusion of the course you'll be given a final test. Depending on the defensive driving school, this may be multiple choice or true or false. Scores carry no meaning with some schools. In California, for example, you'll earn a Certificate of Completion whether you pass or fail. You will need the certificate to get a traffic ticket dismissed or points for a speeding ticket reduced.

Depending on the comedy traffic school, you may have to test in person. Or have your test notarized, requiring you to complete the exam in the presence of a notary public. This requires a small notary fee, usually in the $10 to $15 price range.
