Where can I find a car parking driver ed game?
Many arcade sites or driver ed online Web sites on the Internet offer free parking games and other driver ed games. These parking games use the arrow keys on your keyboard to direct a car into a parallel parking position. They simulate real parking in that you have to do things like bring your car up next to the car in front of you, back it in, and turn the correct way. Of course, the games are no substitute for real-world practice, although they can give you a taste of what parking is like.
The parking games are part of a wider drivers education course of study before you get a drivers license. Part of your study should also be practice tests for the written DMV test. Look for a test with 50 to 100 questions in the same multiple-choice format the DMV uses; these questions should be taken from the DMV manual.
Sometimes state DMVs have free practice tests online or in the back of the manual. If not, the same driver ed online Web sites with the free parking games also have the practice tests for a reasonable one-time price.
