What is drivers ed the game?

New Driver Checklist
Drivers Ed the Game, is an interactive video game that combines education and entertainment in teaching driving basics. The game can be found online and played from your computer. Depending on which version you're playing (there's also Drivers Ed 2), you're given different parking and driving situations. You then must successfully maneuver an animated car into a parking spot or through a busy four-way intersection using the computer's keyboard. The space bar serves as the brake, while the arrow keys control forward, reverse, right and left. Each successful maneuver is rewarded with a new driving scenario.

Passing the game will not earn you a drivers license. Nor should it be exclusively used in place of practice tests. it is what it is: a game, based on driving techniques taught in an actual drivers education program. Many driver ed online courses offer it as a supplement to the regular course curriculum. But you do not have to enroll in a drivers ed school to play. Many Internet arcade sites offer the game for free.
